Mazatlan
Mazatlan sets at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains on a peninsula that extends into the Pacific Ocean. Mazatlan is one of Mexico's premier resort areas offering scenic beauty, a festive atmosphere and a broad range of activities and experiences. It is also one of the largest ports in Mexico. The curving seaside boulevard, known as the malecone runs 17 miles along the waterfront, connecting Old Mazatlan with its historic quaint charm to the Golden Zone where most of the hotels and restaurants are located.
